Pineville, LA (AHN) - Two people are dead after two small planes collided in midair over the woods in Pineville, La. Saturday.

Two other people were taken to a local hospital, according to local media reports. Witnesses said the planes lost control when they flew too close to each other.

The planes were single-engine Cessna 150s. The accident happened at about 2:30 p.m.

The accident is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
